After graduating from Central St. Martins in 1999 Charlotte Bebbington spent 3 years working as a free lance designer for the London based company Westcott Design, sending knitwear concepts to New York, Paris and Florence.

In 2002 she took the decision to set up her own business, Charlie b, with the aim of helping people choose knitwear designs, materials, colours, and tones that suit them personally and uniquely.

Charlotte is fascinated with the combination of colour, tone and texture that can be created with natural luxury yarns, as well as the form and the technicalities of production in knitwear.

Now working from her studio in the beautiful old Abbey town of Sherborne, Dorset - just two hours from London - Charlotte concentrates on providing bespoke knitwear for individual customers, as well as the Charlie b luxury ready-to-wear collection. In addition, Charlotte and her team work on small scale production for clients ranging from aspiring new designers to well-established couture houses such as Robinson Valentine.
